Short Story Contest Judging Begins!
Our 2008 short story writing contest has ended, and we’re knee-deep in the judging process. We received over 65 stories, so our task is daunting, to say the least. Reading the stories isn’t hard, that part is very enjoyable. What IS hard is trying to pick the winners. We wish everyone could be a winner, but that’s not possible. Every contest has to have winners and…those who don’t win. Thank you to all who entered our 2008 contest. If you’re kicking yourself right now because you missed out on the 2008 contest, don’t despair! Our 2009 contest is now accepting submissions. The deadline is July 31, 2009, so you’ve got plenty of time to polish up that award-winning story you’re working on and submit it for our contest in the near future!
